The I.T Department  

This department was established in the year 2001. The motive of this branch is to build software technicians. We give training in  Web Designing ,Computer Graphics,Internet Programming, RDBMS,Software Engineering and Networks Administration.

This course has job opportunities in IT Industries. IT industries are now stepping               their strong foot in Indian Market. So there is plenty of chances available for Diploma   holders.We have selected “Linux Programming and Administration” subject as our elective subject in V Semester, since Linux OS is very popular in IT industries.

To improve the industry institute interaction MOU’s have been signed with various industries and students are visiting industries periodically and under going inplant training.

Regional level Seminars on recent trends in IT Field are conducted by eminent visiting professors .Every year campus interviews are conducted by reputed companies like    HCL,CMC Ltd., BK Systems,Sure Soft etc.,

Students are motivated to become state level rank holders. Ms.M.A.Ambiritha secured  first rank (V Semester) in  October 2007 Board Examinations.

 

Internet Lab

Equipments :  

IT Lab is equipped with 45 Systems (Pentium D Processor) with internal network and 2Mbps broad band connection for Internet access.UPS facility is available for Uninterruptible Power Supply.
Higher Study Info :  

As for as Higher Studies
· Student can join B.E or B.Tech., degree
· Can join BIT, B.C.A, or B.Sc.Computer science and then can do M.C.A.
