Instructions to candidates applying  for admission to Full Time Three Year Diploma Courses :

Minimum qualification :

A mere pass in SSLC with eligibility for admission to 1st year of Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu HSC Board Schools or

Any other qualification recognized as equivalent to a pass in SSLC or X Standard or Tamil Nadu High Schools by the Director of School Education/Secondary Education Board, Tamil Nadu.

Note :Candidates who are qualified as on 1-7-(year) (ie., who have passed the qualifying examination duringApril or earlier examination) only with become eligible for admission.

Marks Rule

For ST/SC Candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination will suffice.Candidates belonging to communities other than ST/SC should have obtained the following minimum marks.

Candidates seeking admission against ST/SC/MBC & DC/BC quota should obtain a certificate of social status in the prescribed form (which is a duly numbered and printed one) available with Revenue Authoritiesconcerned. The candidates should furnish theparticulars invariably for item No.4(a) of the application form without fail. The Candidates who have not furnished the particular for itemNo.4(a) at the time of submission of the application will be treated as belonging to OC.

The Candidates should produce at the time of admission, the original community certificate along with a Xerox copy of the community certificate duly attested by Officers of Grade A and B.

Minimum qualification :
A pass in HSC [academic] or [vocational] courses mentioned in Annexure lll offered in the Higher Secondary School in Tamilnadu affiliated to the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for University courses to study.

Should have studied one related subject and one vocational subject consisting one theory and two Practicals 'or'

Should have studied two related subjects and one vocational subject consisting of One theory and one Practial

HSC[V] COMMERCIAL SUBJECT,HSC[A] COMMERCIAL SUBJECTS holders are not eligible for Engg. diploma courses.
